Comprehensive free service for people experiencing harm from alcohol, other drugs and gambling.

Includes assessment, treatment planning, counselling, group therapy, and detox support (community and inpatient options).

  • Counselling: Offers individual and group counselling across the Auckland region.
  • Youth - Altered High: Offers support for people aged 13–20 and their family/whānau.
  • Pregnancy & Parental Service: Offers support to pregnant women and parents of children under 3 years old.
  • Māori - Te Ātea Marino: Offers support for tangata whai ora and their whānau.
  • Pacific - Tupu: Offers support to Pacific individuals and their aiga/fanau/magafaoa.
  • Rainbow: Offers support for LGBTQIA+ communities, including takatāpui, fa’afafine, and intersex individuals.
  • Asian: Provides staff fluent in main Asian languages and free interpreters covering more than 20 languages.
  • Detox - Community & Home Detox (CHDS): Provides detoxification support in a community or home environment.
  • Detox - Medically Managed Withdrawal (MMWS): Provides medical detoxification for individuals physically dependent on substances such as alcohol, methamphetamines, benzodiazepines, and opiates.
  • Abstinence Programme (CAP): Supports individuals in achieving and maintaining abstinence from alcohol and drugs.
  • Opioid Treatment Service (AOTS): Specializes in Opiate/Opioid Substitution Treatment (OST), an effective and well-researched method for opioid dependence.
  • Dual Diagnosis Service: A mobile specialist service supporting people affected by both mental illness and substance use.
  • Consumer Team: Comprises individuals with lived experience of alcohol and drug challenges, offering insights and advocacy for tangata whai ora.
